Apartment of the Month: Marais View

As you might have learned in our last blog post, “La rentrée” literally translated as the “the return” has come to signify the beginning of autumn as everyone returns from summer getaways and the children start school again.

It is a beginning of an exciting time in the city, which features many events, and we are ready to kick off this fall season by highlighting our September apartment of the month: Marais View.

Marais ViewView Living up to its name, the Marais View, a spacious 1-bedroom apartment, is located high in the center of Paris, giving one a full 180 degree view of the city from the floor to ceiling windows.  It goes without saying this patchwork view of the zinc and slate rooftops with the occasional church steeple has been the source of inspiration for many artists and it will surely awaken anyone’s imagination.  Don’t worry, there is an elevator to take you up to this airy apartment.  As you might have guessed, this central Marais apartment spoils one with endless choices of nearby restaurants, boutiques, and activities to keep one entertained during their stay.  Just steps from the city’s most popular tourist destinations, such as the Centre Pompidou, Paris’ town hall, Hotel de Ville, and the famous Notre Dame Cathedral, taking the metro will rarely be needed but situated close for convenience.

View 2KitchenFully equipped with an open kitchen and living area gives guests plenty of room to spread out comfortably and the perfect place to call home for evenings in.  Don’t take our word for it, take a look at some past reviews from our guests:

Mandy Nichols says: “The Marais view was light airy and chic! Gazing out over the rooftops of Paris was bliss…The bedroom was comfortable and our 2 teenage daughters slept well on the lounge room sofa bed. A well equipped kitchen had everything we needed.”

While Angelo Marvis said: “We enjoyed our stay in the Marais View. The apartment was secure and comfortable for a family stay with our young girls sharing the comfortable sofa bed. The top floor apartment gave us sweeping views across the city skyline and was close to the Marais with most of our exploring done on foot. The apartment was also close to supermarkets and the the much required boulangerie which supplied our breakfast croissant and baguettes. The nearby Metro also provided easy access the city’s attractions. Definitely worth a second stay.”

Since this trendy central apartment is featured as our monthly spotlight, we will be offering a special discount off the regular price for any booking made during the month of September 2015.  Do contact Katy, our bookings manager, (bookings@alacarteparis.com) to take advantage of this offer.
